CHS Wins Leigh Tournament

Four games in one day! Started with an early morning field hockey game, which we lost 0-1. After that off to Ice Hockey where our 17U Jr Sharks team beat the Roseville 14 boys 9-0. We had great puck movement, passing, scoring, and tenacity. Raced back to Leigh High for the field hockey semi finals with four minutes to spare. We played always tough Los Altos to 0-0 tie, which meant my first shoot-out. Big time stress, but I visualized and played aggressive. I stopped 3 of 4 and we scored 2 to win!! So happy!! On to the finals against Leigh High School. Tight game, made some saves, and my friend Emily Burke scored. We won 1-0! First time in 10 years for Cupertino High to win the Leigh Tournament.
