What a long journey, great year, and gratifying result! After 68 regular season games and winning the Pacific District Championship we arrived in Troy Michigan for the Tier II National Championships. The first game is always hard and important. We defeated the #2 CT Northern Lights 2-1 in a hard fought game on 37 shots. After that we defeated the Brewster Lady Bulldogs 5-1 Next we played the Boston Shamrocks, out shot them 46 to 23, had a 1-0 lead until the last minute, but they scored on an odd-man rush and then won in OT. Moving to the playoffs, we defeated the Reston Raiders 7-1, Steal City Selects 3-0, and Ann-Arbor 4-0 for the National Championship. Many of us have played together a long time. This is such a gratifying accomplishment and great way to send off our five graduating players. Press: USA Hockey, Rubber Magazine, Jr Sharks, USA Hockey Magazine

I lead all goalies in wins (5) and shutouts (2). My 95.6% save percentage was top of any goalie that faced more than 5 shots. (USA Hockey Stats)
