Victorious at Chicago High Performance College Showcase

Traveled to SFO, bright and early at 3:00 AM, for our first travel tournament of the 2017-18 Season. Hit the ice for practice a couple of hours after arriving in Chicago. Played the first half of the first two games, which we won 8-0 and 8-1. Sat for the next game, 5-2, and then played the full semi-final (4-0) and finals (4-0). Happy to squeeze in a quick visit with an Elementary school friend who moved to Chicago. With a couple of AP classes this year, I had to squeeze in studying whenever I had time. Return flight was delayed :-( but got home at 12:30 AM to get to bed for school next day.
