CHS Field Hockey Undefeated In First 10

At the beginning of the year it is always easy to think about last season's good players who graduated without fully appreciating the new players and growth opportunities. We started the season undefeated in our first 10 pre-season, regular season, and exhibition games!! Over that period I gave up 3 goals on ~43 shots. The streak came to an end playing the elite Los Gatos team, who routinely defeats their league opponents by 5 goals or more. For us a 0-1 loss was a HUGE victory. Our team played great D, fending off 20 corners, and and was tenacious throughout. Their one goal was scored on a tip. I stopped the 21 other shots. Closing the gap.
