Single goal margin in all games against top AAA teams at Madison CAN/AM

While most of the teams we faced were larger and were rolling four lines, we played some great hockey. My game with Meijjer 19AAA team was emotional both due to the recent tragic loss of two of their U16 players and because of the opportunity to face my National Camp friend! We held a 2-1 lead until 9 sec left in the third, when they scored on a 6 on 4 screen. Ended up 2-2, 92.8% on 28 shots including a couple of breakaways.

Next morning we played top-20 Maddison, who recently split games with #1 Shattuck St Mary's. They scored three times in an intense 17 shot first period. We held tough though, scoring a goal early in the second and holding them scoreless in the second. With two more in the third we tied it, but rolling only three lines started to catch up with us. They scored late in the third for a 4-3 victory. Tough to loose the tie but an AWESOME result against one of the top AAA teams. 89.4% on 37 shots with breakaways.

I was called into for the third period off our Illinois game where I held them scoreless and stopped another breakaway. So much fun to play top AAA teams!!!
