Always Love the 2-Nations Tournament

The only thing I don't like is the long drive from Boston to Brampton ON. Playing top teams we made some good progress as a team Results:

• vs Northwood School 2-2

• vs Honeybaked 1-7 (4 during my play)

• vs Ottawa67's 1-1

• vs Chicago Young Americas 0-2

This was my best tournament of the year! I made some tough saves, stopped lots of breakaways, and even stopped a 4 on 0. Against the Ottawa67's, they scored in the first, we tied in the second, and I held them off for the rest of the game and overtime on over 50 shots. I was happy to get the complements of the opposing coach and goalies. An ice bath and four hours later we played the Chicago Young Americans. They were a very physical team, knocking my helmet off and crashing the net but I stayed on my game, stopping over 45 shots. We scored but unfortunately it was waved off because the net was kicked off afterwards. All in all a very challenging but satisfying time between the pipes. It was also fun to see some of my former Jr Sharks teammates.
